I thoroughly enjoy working with global executives and teams that have ‘knotty’ problems. I aim to bring a collaborative, generative approach to support teams to surface and understand the systemic patterns of behaviour which drive (or hinder) their performance and to find sustainable, implementable solutions. My clients say that they appreciate that I hold the space for different perspectives, that I am pragmatic, challenge them respectfully, and all with a sense of humour.

I have led teams of various shapes and sizes in organizational and leadership development, in the logistics and automotive sectors, latterly being responsible for International Management Development at BMW AG. I have been working as an independent coach and team coach since 2009 and have worked in over 30 countries with global executives and teams from a wide variety of sectors.

I have a Senior Practitioner Diploma in Systemic Team Coaching from the AoEC and am accredited by the EMCC as a Senior Practitioner Coach. I am a certified Coaching Supervisor from the Tavistock Institute and have also completed a Certification of Supervision of Team Coaching from Renewal Associates/AoEC. As well as being a Certified Physical Intelligence Coach, I hold certifications in a variety of assessments such as Gallup StrengthsFinder and MBTI.

Shared with many of my Scottish forebears, I have spent most of my working career abroad, living in Japan and Germany.  I coach and work in English, German and Japanese.

I enjoy gentle yoga and leisurely walks with our aged Labrador, and also travelling, the arts (I’ve been working on my drawing for many years), reading, and a glass or two of good wine.
